Celia & I have been planning a bit of a nature hike & we landed on John Chestnut Park. This little gem is pretty much in our backyard & we have never been. The wildlife here appear to be used to foot traffic so if you want up close (I said up close… Not next to!) then this is the park for you. The squirrel have clearly been fed before so if you are hanging out with food, they will appear to gang up on you…. They mostly appear to beg. All in all, this was an amazing adventure. The weather was close to 90 or so degrees on this day but there is plenty of tree cover which also lends itself to better pictures!
